I’m listening to your concerns, and bringing them forward to those who refuse to listen. I’m advocating for human rights, reproductive equality, and protecting our environment from irreversible harm.

Because I’m a mother of two young children, and am concerned about their public school education, their safety, and being able to afford food and activities so that they can thrive.

Because every American resident has a right to participate in democracy, and adhering to the Constitution should NOT be a partisan issue.

Because I, too, have used community agencies and resources as a member of multiple vulnerable communities, myself.

Because I want to represent oppressed groups, make meaningful change, and give my painful experiences a productive purpose.

To stand up to misinformation,

and oligarchy rule.

To be a leader, to do politics differently and creatively, and to protect populations that have been exploited and marginalized.

MY COMMUNITY

As a social worker and researcher for 21 years across central IL and the 13th District, I am deeply embedded and active in the community I represent. I have strong relationships with several community agencies, and I understand the direct impact that policy has on our most vulnerable.
